Before and After Cleanse

Before cleanse

The more you can gradually prepare your body for an intensive cleanse the better you will find the experience. Please try hard not to overeat all the nicest things that you can think of before starting the cleanse; it really will not make you feel good!

In the period leading up to the beginning of the cleanse (at the very least two to three days before you begin), reduce your intake of alcohol and caffeine gradually if you normally have these. Follow a light vegetarian or vegan diet (i.e. no meat, fish or dairy) including lots of fresh organic fruit and vegetables and a large salad daily.

Our daily delivery plan might help you prepare for the cleanse.

After cleanse
Your digestive system is very delicate after a cleanse, having barely digested anything for days. The easiest mistake that any cleanser can make is to eat the wrong foods when coming off their cleanse. While, naturally, we spend most of a cleanse dreaming about the foods we are going to indulge in when we're done, we must be diligent about  making good food choices after the cleanse to further promote the clearance of toxins.
The best foods with which to break your cleanse are soups, vegetable purees, superfood smoothies, and steamed vegetables and gluten-free grain bowls. It is best to eat in this manner for the three days after the cleanse. Take the opportunity to start anew, focusing your diet on plant-based, green vegetable-rich meals.

A great option is to follow up your cleanse by ordering Raw Fairies daily deliveries.
